BASIC MEDITATION
Meditation -a feature that let's you 'freeze' your mage for 3 days.
You can't touch it, Enemies can't touch it.
You should plan going into Meditation, because it has some restrictions:
- if you have bloody hands you can't enter Meditation... you should not have
attacked, pillaged, countered, itemed, spelled enemies during the last 24 hours.
This includes casting Books of Phrophecy or Serenities on friends...
- Armageddon has to be before 5th Seal - so you will be out of Meditation before
the end of Armageddon
- you can only ENTER meditation ONCE every 7 days. v
- If you hold an UNIQUE item you can't enter Meditation.
- Entering meditation will drop all spells casted by YOU. This implicates you have
to recast spells after 3 days, and thus you should have some m.p. saved before
you enter Meditation. Because you can't attack or spell an enemy 24 hours before
meditation... you should have plenty of turns and use them to charge big m.p..
You should disspell some spells on yourself during the 200 turns you can spend
and use the extra m.p. to fill your nodes!
ADVANCED
Please note that WHILE in meditation, you WILL send your allies reinforcements - I
used my 200 saved turns before entering meditation to get a nice 3-stack army,
with a strong Ultimate stack in 3rd...
Your allies will benefit 3 days from it...
- Meditation is sometimes used to win time in battles
- You can't cast new spells while a mage is meditating
- Your own spells will be dispelled after meditation
- Other peoples spells will stay up after meditation
You DO NOT expend mana to upkeep a spell on someone.
You expend mana
when they take turns =)
If you have a spell on someone when they go into
meditation, it will still be there when they come out.
Anyone
going into meditation drops all the spells that they have cast, just not the ones
cast on them.
Once someone is meditating, you cannot cast a spell on them or
item then.
